LF412: datasheet don't have the curve to verify if the model is proper in simulation

Part Number: LF412
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2171

Hi,

My customer wondering if there are testing curve for this part. Because now they are trying to compare the result of simulation(Pspice and TINA) and the datasheet, but there is no plot in the datasheet.

May I ask that if there are any testing data is able to give to my customer for reference?

Thank you.

  • Hi,

what data and specifications are we talking about?

You know that the LF412 is a dino under the OPAmps?

    Kai
  • Kai is correct, please provide information on what plot you need. The LF412 is a very old model (released 2002) and I'm not sure how accurate it will be. More than likely, the model is just a few lines long and only roughly models the small signal behavior of the device.

I would look at the OPA2171 as a better part. It's on a newer process and has an updated model that is accurate.

    Thanks,
    Paul
