LMC7101: Top part marking changes

Part Number: LMC7101

Hi E2E Community,

I observed that the package 5-pin SOT23 top marking have changes, from without '.' (dot) and now with '.' (dot) before the designated device marking. Is there any PCN or documents for this changes? Hope to hear answers from you.

Note: I just use the device LMC7101BIM5X/NOPB for example.

LMC7101BIM5X/NOPB will have a notch on top side and a dot on bottom side to mark orientation. It has been this way the last two years or more.
Can you provide pictures?

I asked the product engineer about this dot. I expect an answer tomorrow, possibly Monday.

Junnifer,

There was a change to implement pin 1 dot mark to all SOT devices (SOT-23, SOT-223, SOT-SC70)
The purpose is to help with alignment. This is only a minor symbolization change. No other changes were made.
