AMC1311-Q1: Power VDD2 first then VDD1, what is the effect?

Hi team. It is nice to find you here. I want to use AMC1311-Q1 in voltage measurement. In practice, the VDD2 is built first, and then the VDD1 is built.

  • Does this affect the normal operation of the chip?
  • Do we have some test waveform about this situation?

    There is no specific power sequence requirement for the AMC1311-Q1, you can bring up VDD1 first or VDD2. I'm not sure what sort of test waveform you would like to see, but it would be like what is shown in Figure 48. As VDD2 is established without VDD1 present, the outputs will assume the Vfailsafe state. As VDD1 comes up and is fully established, the VOUTP and VOUTn will reflect the status of the input voltage based on the applied current through the input shunt resistor in a manor similar to what is shown in Figure 51, with the settling time dependent on the input signal amplitude.
