INA118: - Marking Issue

Hi,

MPN: INA118UB

Farnell #: 1212405

Customer received this part.

The marking of the received part says INA118U K.

Bur as per the data sheet the marking should be INA118UB.

Refer page 22. Device marking.

So “B” is missing in the received part. And “K” is there.

So customer is asking is that correct part and what is the meaning of K?

Please help.

Would it be possible to get a picture of the markings?
I looked at a couple that I have here and the markings are not as you describe, but the parts I have are quite old and the markings may have changed.

Following up with the package markings... According to spec, the grade marking "B" is typically placed not next to the U but near the pin 1 end of the part. The K may be the assembly site, but I would expect some space between the U and the K.
