Hi,
to measure the voltage drop over a shunt resistor two amplifier stages are used. The amplification is very high because the shunt current is very small. However it also happens that there is continuously a much higher current running through the shunt which drives the output of stage 1 into saturation which means that the input of stage 2 is V+ and V-. Supply voltage is +-1.65V. See below the plot from a LTSpice simulation:
Can the opa2388 withstand this working conditions?
