MC1458: PDIP package for CDIP replacement

Hello

 

Our customer is looking for 2ch OPAMP with CDIP package with RoHS to replace other vendor’s amp because of its EOL.

But we don’t have any 2ch OPAMP with CDIP with RoHS. Then they may try to use PDIP package like MC1458P instead of CDIP.

My question is that can the user mount PDIP IC on the board designed for CDIP by bending its lead a little?
