This part Lm2903 has a testing specification MIL-PRF-38535. Our company needs to know the name of the lab that tests for this specification for TI or if TI does the testing itself.

Hello Michael,

The mil grade products covered by the datasheet are LM139FKB and LM139JGB in SMD 5962-94526.
TI manufactures, qualifies and tests these products, but some steps are done at subcontractors under TI's specifications and quality control.

The suggested parts are not pin compatible with LM2903. Is there a pin compatible product ?

The LM2903 and LM193 are pin compatible but the LM2903 comes only in plastic packages while the mil grade LM193 parts only come in ceramic packages. The pin out of the plastic and ceramic packages are the same.

We are involved with a testing lab ETL and they are unwilling to accept TI certification for Lm2903 or LM193 part. I talked to Underwriters Lab
and they said if TI had a UL file number or one of the other testing labs ( Applied research, MET labs ) certification for this part they would accept our design. The document MIL-PRF- 38535 satisfies us that TI has done a great job of testing and monitoring production of these parts. ETL will not accept this premise and are looking for independent testing lab documentation. Can You help with additional documentation ?
