INA226: how to test 20uA current?

we want to measure 2 level of current.

1. 20uA-30uA;2. 17mA-20mA

can we choose INA226 for this appliation?

If Yes, what's the value of shunt resistor to be chosen? and is there any other suggestions?

Hi Jesse,

as the 10µA typical input bias current of INA226 is in the same range as your first current level of 20µA...30µA, the INA226 cannot be used for this task.

Hi Jesse,

in any case the input bias current of device should be no more than 20µA/100, to keep the error under 1%.

Please look at our recently released INA190. Its input bias current is much lower.
