LM124A: LM124AJ/PB

Part Number: LM124A

Please let me know a difference between LM124AJ and LM124AJ/PB because I ordered "LM124AJ" but Ti said only available LM124AJ/PB.
1. LM124AJ is active part and has a stock, but one of distributor (AVNET) can't supply it.  So can I order "LM124AJ with certificate of conformance in TI store?

2.The following datasheet, "Differential input voltage of LM124AJ is +-32V, but LM124AJ/PB is only 32V. Is availble +-32V for LM12AJ/PB?

3. What's the meaning of "Voltage Coverage?"
  • Hi,

The apps engineer supporting this device will look into your inquiries. Be advised, however, that he is on business travel so response time might be delayed a bit.

    Thanks
  • Is there any other engineer who can answer my question?
  • Hi Ray,
Sorry for the late reply. Somehow, this thread got marked as customer marked it as resolved, so I thought you got the answer from your other post.

As mentioned in the other post, the LM124AJ comes from TI and the LM124AJ/PB comes from National, which TI acquired in 2011. The LM124A is an industry standard part and both parts will meet the same specs, but the die are different, having different layout and wafer fab.

Neither will have a c of c because they are not mil grade products.

The input differential voltage is the same for both parts, but just expressed differently. It is basically +/-32V for both parts. Saying that it is 32V is the same thing as long as you are not specifying which particular input it is.

Please provide more info about where you see "voltage coverage". I did not find that term in either datasheet.
