OPA2277: Output current data with lower power supply condition

Part Number: OPA2277

Hello team,

I have a question about OPA2277 output current capability.

Datasheet figure 18 shows the output current vs. output voltage swing. However its power supply condition is +/-15V.

Do you have such data with lower power supply condition, like +/-5V or +/-3.3V?

Best regards,

  • Sato-san,

I found and reviewed the original OPA2277 documentation from about 1998 and unfortunately it does not include any curves for the low voltage levels you mention. However, that really isn't needed because the OPA2277 datasheet Figure 18, Output Voltage Swing vs Output Current curves are equally applicable at the other supply voltages at which the op amp can be powered. The OPA2277 is designed to provide very similar electrical performances over its entire power supply range.

You will note that the Output Voltage Swing vs Output Current curves are with respect to V+ and V- on the vertical Output Voltage Swing (V) axis. Therefore, you can determine the typical output voltage swing for a particular output load current noting that the maximum swing is with regard to the applied supply voltages.
