LM358: Difference between LM358AP and LM358P

Part Number: LM358

Hi Team ,

One of my customer using LM358N (ST) and I try to replace it with TI .

Customer having two part LM358AP and LM358P from TI .

Please advise which is direct replacement and what is the difference between LM358AP and LM358P.

Limits for offset voltage and drift, input bias and offset current are better on "A"

Hi Ronald ,
Many thanks for your support .

What I understand from your reply that LM358AP is better than LM358P .

But my customer using LM358AP at the place of LM358N (ST microelectronics) ,but when they are power up their board there second OPamp is not working .

But As LM358AP is Dropin replacement so it should work .

Please advise.

Rahul,

LM358AP will have improved offset voltage so offset related issues will be improved.
Do you have more details about what is not working on the second op amp?
