THS6301: Question about the Max. Power Dissipation of THS6301IRSAR

As customer is planning to use THS6301IRSAR and they want to know the Max. Power Dissipation, could you please help to provide it? Thanks a lot!

Hello Zhengquan,

The max power dissipation of a device can be found using the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance, maximum junction temp and the ambient temperature of a device. The relationship is PD = (TJmax - Ta)/ThetaJA. The max junction temp and junction to ambient resistance can be found in the data sheet as 150C and 39C/W respectively. Assuming an ambient room temperature of 23C, the maximum power dissipation will be around 3.25 Watts.

Thanks for your help! customer want to know the max power dissipation when it works, not the max tolerant power dissipation. Could you please help to check this? Thanks!
