XTR117: We require two 4-20mA outputs at a time, how it is possible?

Part Number: XTR117

With XTR117 IC, we tried for two outputs, but due to command return path, current mismatching occurred .

At each output channel we should get proper & accurate current .

What will be the solution over this ?

Hi Piyush,

one solution is to provide galvanic isolation at the inputs, as shown in figure 4 of datasheet. All the circuitry which is connected to the input of XTR117 must entirely be powered by the XTR117 itself.

Another remedy is to use a non-loop powered, 3-wire voltage-to-current converter instead of the XTR117.
