Dear colleague,

A customer prepares to use AMC1301 in digital AC/DC to measure bus voltage.

My customer asked me if exceeded AMC1301 CMTI, what will happen in AMC1301 output?

Do we have a related application note to explain?

Thanks for your post!

As shown in the datasheet, CMTI for the AMC1301 is a minimum of 15kV/uS. Exceeding 15kV/uS is not guaranteed to damage the device, but it is possible. If this spec is violated, the device could be damaged or there may be pattern errors on the output.

I do not believe we have an app note for this.
