AMC1301: About replacement to AMC1302.

Hi team.

I'd like to switch AMC1301 to AMC1302.

The differential input range is ±45mVmax.

Is it possible to replace AMC1301 to AMC1302 ?

Are peripheral circuits the same?

Sincerely.

Kengo.

  • Hi Kengo,

As you pointed out, the input range is the different. The linear input range of the AMC1302 is +/-50mV, but can typically go to +/-64mV. This will require a change to the shunt resistor size. The input resistance of the AMC1302 is lower which may affect the accuracy of your measurement depending on how the device is being used. Besides these two things I do not see anything else that needs to be considered.
  • Hi Alex.

Thank you for your detail instruction.

    I understood.

    Sincerely.

    Kengo.
