INA240: Output behavior at start up timing

Hi Team,

Could you tell me how INA240's output behaves during Vcc is ramping at Start up condition?

If possible, could you capture the waveform of the output under slow ramping up VCC condition?

In my customer case, it seems that the output once toughs to ground, and it goes up to VCC after touching ground around 1.8V Vcc condition.

Hi Takashi Onawa,

Please note that the minimum supply of 2.7V is required for normal operation. Below graphs were captured with supply ramp of 0V to 5V. Blue=output.

(1) when both REF pins are grounded:

(2) when one REF pin is grounded and the other tied to supply.

This behavior won't get the device damaged, right?

Hi Onawa-san,

The device will not be damaged.

The glitches happen because the supply is below minimum required therefore the device is not functioning yet.

So Figure 23 in datasheet +/-IN pins are floating? One would think if +/-IN were held to 0V, the output follows REF1/2=0v?
