INA185: INA185

Part Number: INA185

Hi Sir

When INA185 work on unidirection mode ,if in this mode have reverse current ,what's the maximum voltage that INA185 can support

  • Hi Kai,

the common mode input voltage range where the INA185 is in linear operation is from -0.2V to +26V. But see also the absolute maximum ratings in section 6.1!

  • Hello Kai Hsiao,

Thanks for considering to use Texas Instruments. As Kai Klaas69 pointed out, you will will want keep the voltages on your INA185 within the specifications defined in the absolute max secion (6.1) of the datasheet to prevent your part from being destroyed. If you expect the common mode voltage to be well above -0.3V when the reverse current condition occurs, you would still need to observe another absolute max specification for the part. The largest reverse current your part is subjected to should not produce a Vsense voltage that exceeds -26V.
