Dear experts,
i am working for weighing scale project and my MC have i2c supported but i can't find load cell amplifier with i2c output, so can you please let me know, ti have release such a loadcell amplifier with i2c output.
thank you

Hi Natesh,
Regarding amplifiers that interface with bridge load cells, we offer the PGA308 and PGA309. These devices amplify the sensor signal and provide digital calibration for offset and gain; as well as provide sensor excitation and linearization. However, as you have mentioned, the PGA308/PGA309 amplifier output is analog voltage.
Note: The PGA309 offers a two-wire digital interface used program internal registers to perform the digital calibration and to communicate/store calibration coefficients on an external EEPROM; but the actual output from the device is analog voltage output.
If you require I2C digital output, you may consider using an Analog to Digital Converter that offers I2C interface. One possibility is to interface the PGA30x to an ADC with I2C interface. For example, the ADS1115 is a 16-Bit Delta-Sigma converter offering I2C interface, and the PGA308/9 could be configured to drive the ADS1115 ADC.
If you have questions specific to ADCs, please submit a query on the Data converters forum where they will be able to provide detailed information on ADCs or may have other I2C interface ADC suggestions.
Please let me know if you have questions related to the PGA308/PGA309 or interfacing these amplifiers with an ADC.
Thank you and Best Regards,
Luis
