TL331-EP: Startup behavior question

I have a customer using the TLV331-EP in the following config:

As you can see below, output is low when non-inverting input exceeds the value on inverting input at startup.

Any insight as to why this is happening?

    Hello Gregory,

    It appears the common mode range is being violated. Over temperature, common mode voltage should be less than Vcc - 2V, which would be 6V for an 8V supply. Here it appears that the common mode is around 7V.

    I am not sure what your question is. Are you asking about the noise of the supplies? I am not sure how the TL331 could cause that.
