INA217: INA217 Phantom Power application

Part Number: INA217

Hi Sir,

Our Customer want to use the INA217 for Phantom Power application.

But have some question, may i double check with you.

Q1, is Phantom Power current limit R is 6.8K(R1 & R2)?
Q2, If Current Limit R is R1& R2, then what's package for recommand?
Q3, If we are change the R1 & R2 any risk?

Hi Hugo,

6k8 is given by international standards and should not be changed. Also, the 6k8 resistors must be very precise. I recommend +/-0.1% manufacturing tolerance. And, as in the worst case they have to withstand a heat dissipation of 0.34W, I would take them in a larger physical size.
