LM6172: Thermal Resistance

Hi Team,

My customer would like to know if would there be θj-thru leads for LM6172, which would be a thermal path to the board? Since θjc(top) and θjc(bottom) was already resolved on this e2e thread https://e2e.ti.com/support/amplifiers/f/14/t/733640?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=LM6172%20thermal%20resistance

He also added that he needs to carry out a thermal analysis to the PWB where the component is mounted this is why he is asking for this information.

Hi Renan,

I am not sure what you are asking about in regards to the thermal resistance θj.

Here is an appnote defining thermal resistance. www.ti.com/.../spra953c.pdf
If you let me know which package you want, I can provide you with all the thermal values.
Please also look at the power dissipation section of the datasheet.
