ISO224: Supply current

Hi Team,

One of my customer is using ISO224 in their project. They want to know the supply current of ISO224 chip. They are supplying the 5V supply at VDD1 and VDD2.

There is no exact values related to supply current mentioned in datasheet. Can I consider 236mA, mentioned in 7.8 section of the datasheet?

Hi Naveen,

The 236 mA number is the safety rating of the package. As Kai noted, the VDD1 current @5V is Idd1 with 7.8 mA MAX and VDD2 is Idd2 at 9.9 mA MAX
