TL072-EP: Temp Coefficient

Part Number: TL072-EP

Team, one question about the temp. coefficient with TL072-EP.

In the datasheet's E/C table, it says the input offset voltage is 8mV,max at full temp range. however is the Temp Coefficient of the 18uV/degree taking into account on this 8mV,max? Or it needs to be calculated separately?

We're confused about this. Please help to comment. thanks.

  • Hello Brian,

The specification means that Vio will be within +/-8 mV over the full temperature range.

The temperature coefficient listing is a typical number meaning that for the typical part, Vio will not change by more than 18 uV per 1C temperature change...but, in any case, Vio will always be within +/- 8 mV over the full temperature range.
