INA219: I2C Logic Level

Dear Team,

My customer DNI is looking for current and voltage monitor for 12V/5A output application.

But they mention the I2C need to be 1.8V.

Can you confirm this one is suitable or not?

Or you have more suitable solution.

Hi Kevin,

INA219 will not work properly. Instead we can recommend INA233 or INA231.

So 1.8V I2C can directly change the pull high to 1.8V?

Is Alert and Address still the original supply voltage?

Hi Kevin,

It will work as you drew. Alert, A0/1 can be pulled to 2.7-5.5V or 1.8V. It should be OK either way.
