OPA2277: Single power supply

Part Number: OPA2277

Does OPA2277 provide single power supply? For example,VCC + is connected to +15V,VCC is connected to GND, can it be used in this way? Thank you.

  • Hello,

Yes, the OPA2277 can be powered from a single +15 V supply, V+ = 15 V, V- = 0 V. Note however, that when an Op amp such as the OPA2277 is powered by a single positive supply that the (VCM) Common-Mode Voltage Range is (V–)+2 to (V+)–2, and the output (VO) Voltage Output,  RL = 10 kΩ (V–)+0.5 to (V+)–1.2. Thus, with the single +15 V supply VCM becomes + 2 V to +13 V, and Vo becomes +0.5 V to +13.8 V.

These operating conditions must be observed to maintain liner operation.
