LM324: what is the Output current of LM324

Dear TI Collegue,

what is the output current of LM324; I check the datasheet, as below screenshot ,the typical source output current is -30mA , the typical sink output current is 20mA, i want to know ,it is the total current or every amplifier output current?

please help me check the parameter.thanks.

Hi Cickey,

The output current specification for each op amp in the package. For example, if you are using a quad amplifier each amplifier can sink 20mA as shown in the datasheet for a total current of 80mA (20mA * 4 op amps). But you will need to take into account the total output current (80mA) for calculating the power dissipation.
