INA818: Difference between INA819

Part Number: INA818
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA819,

Hello,

I would like you to confirm about below.

* Could you please tell us difference between INA818 and INA819 ?

According to datasheet, it seems that differences are only following two. Is my understanding correct ?

* Maximum gain

INA818 : G=1000, INA819 : G=10000

* Pin Assignment and pacakge

Could you please tell us benefit of each pin assignment ?

Best Regards,

  • Hi Ryuuichi,

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Both INA818 and INA819 are G = 1 to 10,000. This specification will be updated on the datasheets.

    INA818 and INA819 are the same part with the exception of the pin assignment (see below). The benefit of each pin assignment will depend on your application's PCB layout. One pin assignment may be a better fit for your PCB and accompanying components.

    It is worth mentioning that the INA819 is currently available in both SOIC-8 and the smaller VSSOP-8 packages. The INA818 is currently only available in the SOIC-8 package. A detailed view of the SO packages can be found at  http://www.ti.com/packaging/docs/searchtipackages.tsp?packageName=SO

    I hope that you found this information useful.
