hi dear supporting team,

double check with you, for single supply application,  customer get -0.82V at  OPA2171 Vin+ input which has exceed the absolute rating, 2.3mA input current which still smaller than 10mA limitation, will it cause long term damage? tks!

    Hi Vera,

    As long as the current is limited to less than 10mA damage should not occur. However, if this is a condition that is expected to occur frequently we usually recommend to limit the current to less than 1mA. The 1mA limit is only a rule of thumb to help ensure the device does not break down over its lifetime.
