Thanks for reaching out on the forum. Does your customer have their shunt resistor on the MB and the INA3221 on a daughter card? Resistance between the shunt and device can increase the error. This source of error could be calculated by multiplying the input bias current by this resistance and then dividing by the ideal Vsense voltage. If your wire resistance is well under 10 ohms, I do not think it will create a large precision issue.
