OPA2171: OPA2171 power supply range

Part Number: OPA2171
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV9002, TLV9062, OPA2990

Hi team,

When I read the OPA2171 datasheet, there are different descriptions about the power supply range.

1. Features:

2. Recommended ranges:

So my custoemr wants to use singe 3.3V power supply. Is it OK for OPA2171?

Best regards,

Wayne

  • Hi Wayne,

Yes, this device is operational for single 3.3V supply. Please be aware that this is a high-voltage device. If your customer intents to use single supply 3.3V, then I would recommend looking into TLV9002 or TLV9062 (low-voltage parts)

    Please find the comparison below:

  • Hi Wayne,

Not all specifications are specified with a supply voltage at 2.7V. For example, Aol, PSRR, and CMRR all have test conditions using at least a 4V supply.

If the customer requires a high voltage device specified down to 2.7V I recommend taking a look at the OPA2990.

    Thank you,
