    Eric,

    The capacitor slightly increases the effective bandwidth of the device. It also reduces the phase margin of the loop which can lead to stability issues.

     Here is forward gain versus frequency for C85  values; 0pf in green;  15pF in black,  and 100pF in purple. 

    The phase margin for 0pF is 87 degrees, 15pF is 78 degrees, and 100pF is 41 degrees.
