Also, if it is just a package difference, why do both 'I' and 'U' variants come in SOT-23?

Hi Russell,

The difference in the two part numbers is the pin out of the SOT-23 package. There are 2 different pin out options for the SOT-23 package. Please see Section 6 on page 6 of the datasheet.

Thank you for your response. This makes sense, however it is not readily apparent what the pinout is of the TLV9001I is. Would I be correct in assuming that it has the pinout of the diagram in the top-left of page 6 of the datasheet? The TLV9001U is readily obvious.
