Hi,
Is the process of LM2904A and LM2904 common?
In other words, Is the LM2904"A" sorted from the LM2904?
Best Regards,
Kuramochi

Hello Kuramochi,
The LM2904 with and without "A" are not the same silicon die with today's production. However they are similar designs.
Ron-san,
Thank you for your support.
Does it mean that the schematic is similar, though manufacturing process is different?
My customer consider to replace from LM2904 to LM2904A, so they mind difference during two devices

Kuramochi-san,
Similar schematic, same process is used. Performance other than offset voltage is the same. When used correctly the LM2904A drops in without any issues. What is incorrect usage? An example is input voltage below ground.
How old is this design?
