OPA129: OPA129

Part Number: OPA129

Hello, I would like to know the meaning of the marking , at the third and last line of OPA129UB part: I think it's Trace code , but how to find date code from this trace code ? Thanks... (98A03N)

  1. First Line = B BB OPA
  2. 2nd Line 129U  K
  3. 3rd (last) Line = 98A03N

NB: on another lot , the 3rd line is 98A041

Thanks for your feedback.

  • Hi Ollivier,

You are correct, the third line of the part markings gives (almost fully) the LTC (lot trace code) of the device. The LTC usually starts with 'YM' (year, month) for the first two digits. Therefore, 98A03NK (1st LTC) and 98A041K (2nd LTC) both date to August of 2019.

To find out the specific material date code, it is best to check the shipping label - box D on the right gives the date code. First two digits of the DC give the year, and 2nd two specify the week of the year for the lot in question. In the example below, the material is from 36th week of 2003.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Regards,
    Vladimir
