AMC1300: Noise reduction in AMC1300

Part Number: AMC1300

Dear sir,

We are trying to measure the AMC1300 for inverter output voltage measurement. Please find the below attached screenshot for the circuit.

PWM Carrier frequency : 17240Hz

Reference sine waveform frequency : 50Hz.

Load resistive load

We are getting lots of noise in the inverter bridge output. Please find the attached screenshot.

SPWM carrier frequency : 17240Hz, Reference sine : 1Hz, Y axis scale : 10V / div, X axis scale : 50uS

SPWM carrier frequency : 17240Hz, Reference sine : 1Hz, Y axis scale : 500mV / div, X axis scale : 50uS

SPWM carrier frequency : 17240Hz, Reference sine : 10Hz, Y axis scale : 10V / div, X axis scale : 50uS

SPWM carrier frequency : 17240Hz, Reference sine : 50Hz, Y axis scale : 10V / div, X axis scale : 50uS

Could you please suggest the suitable filter (hardware component or use software filter after data acquisition) to get the output waveform without noise.

Thanks & regards,

Rajasekaran

  • Hi Rajasekaran,

You may want to consider adding a differential cap between OUTH and OUTL after the resistor to form a differential RC filter, but that is all I can suggest. If you have specific questions about the AMC1300 I am happy to help.
