TLV3011: Max output current

Our customer would like to know the max output current of TLV3011. They would like to confirm if this can support 700uA load since the datasheet only contains the typical value which is 500uA. Your response is be appreciated.

Hi Cedrick,

what output are we talking about? The output of "voltage reference" or the "main output" (open drain) of TLV3011? The driving performance of voltage reference output (sinking and sourcing) can be seen in the curves on page 6 of datasheet. And the sinking performance of main output (open drain) can be seen in the curves on page 4. However, how much the open drain output of TLV3011 can "source" only depends on the value of pull-up resistor.

Thanks for the response Kai,

As Kai stated, the amount of current source the TLV3011 can handle depends on the value of the pull up resistor. As you can see on page 4 of the datasheet, the part's output is capable of sourcing mA of current.
