TLV4376: Input offset

Part Number: TLV4376
The customer wants to confirm TLV4376 operational amplifier.

・ The input offset voltage is 125uV,
The customer's understanding is this value is the maximum and negative side is up to -125uV even when a single 5V power supply is used. Is it correct?

-When using the common mode in the data sheet, there is a description of the offset voltage of 2.5 mV,
Do you agree that there is no possibility of swinging up to this point when using differential or buffering?

Regards,
  • Hi Ryoji,

section 7.3.4 of datasheet gives an answer to your questions.

To 1) And, yes, the specified offset voltage can be positive and negative.

To 2) There's no simple answer. This depends on your circuit and the input signal range. Can you post a schematic of your circuit?
