THS7303: SCL

Hi,

My customer is evaluating THS7303 on their board, problem is occurring.

A symptom is that SCL pin is pulled down after power start-up.

This symptom doesn't occurs when THS7303 is eliminated from the board, so we think that this symptom is caused by THS7303.

Number of boards that occurs symptom is four in seven.

Have you ever seen such problem?

    Kuramochi-san,

    Has the customer taken the I2C notes on page 41 of the datasheet into account? The THS7303 registers are randomized at initial start-up, so it's possible they could be stuck in a state where the part is trying to assert SCL low. Do the master and the THS7303 come up simultaneously or could supply sequencing be an issue?

    Can you provide a schematic showing the I2C lines and any pullups or RC filters?
