AMC1200: AMC1200SDUBR VS AMC1200STDUBRQ1

Part Number: AMC1200

Hi Support team

my customer would like to know the different between the Q grade and non Q grade

since there is one more T in the Q grade part number, any meaning on this "T"

  • Hi Red,

There is no special meaning to the 'T' in the AMC1200 Q1 device.  Beyond the additional testing and documentation that goes on with the -Q1 rated devices in general, they are functionally equivalent devices.

  • Hi Red,

Q grade specifies automotive qualification. This is typically associated with a higher temperature range.

T typically stands for "tape" meaning the method that the devices are shipped in. This is typically used for low, variable quantities.

Likewise, R stands for "reel" meaning a reel of devices are ordered. This is typically used for higher volume orders.
