    Hello Naresh,

Can you share your PSPICE/Orcad file(s)?  I have spoken with the simulation engineer and he believes that this will be the fastest route for solving this issue.

    Regards,

    Daniel

  • Hi Daniel,

PFA for the spice model I have used.

Please let me know if you need some other files.

  • Hi Naresh,

why not running a simulation in TINA-TI? It's free and works beautifully.

    Hello Naresh,

    Thanks for providing the files.

I will have the simulation engineer take a look and see if he can spot anything.

Also, as Kai has recommended, you are also free to try to run the sim in TINA-TI.  It's free and, in my opinion, fairly straightforward to use.

  • Hi Naresh,

I'm sorry that you're having trouble using Cadence - PSpice. The model was made using Pspice version 17.2. I believe that you're using version 9.x. The error is because Pspice is not very friendly in terms of backward compatibility. I was able to successfully simulate the file you shared in Version 17.2, I've shared the screenshot below.

One option is for you to upgrade to a newer Pspice version. If that's not an option, please consider using TINA-TI (it's a free simulation software).

I've also went ahead and built the same circuit for you in TINA-TI. Buffer_TLV316.TSC

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Regards,

    Bala Ravi
