INA233: INA233 usage

Hello,

Does INA233 could measure the power factor? If not, do we have any other monitors that could measure power factor?

Hi Kailyn ,

INA233 will measure averaged power, not power factor. There is not a current sense amplifier that I know can measure power factor directly.

Even for power measurement, it is not exactly real time for voltage and current are sampled at different time instances.

It might be possible to use two INA233 to measure approximately apparent power and real power respectively, and then make the calculation.
