INA240: Supply pin error mode

Is there anny specification for the error mode of the supply pin in case of a broken sensor? How likely is a short circuit to ground on VS Pin?

    Hi Robert,

    We don’t have a number associated with the likelihood of such a scenario. It should never happen during the life time of the device under specified operating conditions.

    However it will almost certainly occur under certain situations when such operating conditions are violated. For example, if the max supply voltage(6V) is exceeded, the chance would be high.
