Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI
Hello,
Hope someone can help with this.
I have been getting use to using TINA but am having a problem with power measurement:-
I have attached the circuit, if it is run in transient analysis you will see that PM1 measures the instantaneous power of R3, which appears to be ~ 0.2W.
I want to be able to measure the average power. On the net there are instructions:-
Select Analysis/AC Analysis/Calculate nodal voltages from the menu and then click the power meter with the probe. A table is supposed to appear showing effective power among other things which does not show up!
The only thing that does show up is a display of the power near the watt-meter symbol which is 0W which clearly disagrees with the Transient result!
Thanks.
