LMP8278Q-Q1: Higher Gain Amplifier Recommendation like LMP8272Q-Q1

Part Number: LMP8278Q-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: INA271

Hi Team,

LMP8278Q-Q1 is evaluated in customer site. We want to use LMP8278Q-Q1 to replace AD8208. For the fist stage gain, LMP8278Q-Q1 is  7, AD8208 is 10.

Do we have same amplifier like AD8208. Could you help us on that? Thanks.

By the way, If we don't have same device like AD8208, please help me to make a comparison table for AD8208 and LMP8278Q-Q1, so I can convince customer use TI's device next time. Thanks.

  • Songzhen,

If you need the same package and gain pinout this limits the choices.  The one you mention is the closest to what you would require.  For a gain of 20 you could look at the INA271 as it will fit the package, pinout and gain but there are some non-linearity behavior when Vsense <20mV.  Please see the datahseet section, 9.1.3 Accuracy Variations as a Result of VSENSE and Common-Mode Voltage, for more details.
