TL971DBV in SOT-23: Does this part really exist? I have a customer who is designing a circuit board with this part. Can't get samples, isn't listed other than on the data sheet.

David, the TL971DBV is still in "preview" status. It will be release to market at a later date.

Are you requesting a single amp in DBV package with characteristics similar to the TL971?
What are the key parameters you need?

Hi Ron,

I also now have a customer interested in designing in the 5-pin SOT23 packaged TL971IDBVx. The data sheet still lists in "preview" status. Does TI have any plans to release the SOT23 into production? If so, does the product line have an estimate as to when?

There is no availability date for the “DBV” package option.

This preview option may take a very long time before it is available to order.
