TINA-TI: SPWM simulation getting problem

Part Number: TINA-TI

Hello,

I am doing a simulation of inverter and therefore I required to generate SPWM(Sinusoidal PWM).

But I have a problem with DC source and input bulk capacitor. If I am connecting a capacitor in left block then the Output of SPWM is not complete for the starting and ending of Sine Wave.

If I am disconnecting the capacitor than output is as expected. I can not understand what is the reason behind this problem?

Please let me know what should I do?

  • Hello Pulkit,

Interesting project you are working on.

Thank you for your inquiry about TINA features.
TINA is a DesignSoft/TINA program, questions are best handled by using the DesignSoft support page:

The DesignSoft/TINA team is very helpful and this is the most direct way for TINA support.

  • Hi Pulkit,

what signal do you connect to what other signal? I don't understand.

  • Hi, kai klaas69,

I am simulating NPC t type inverter. So the right side block is for the generation of PWM and the left side is of DC to AC inverter part.

But after troubleshooting, I had found that I have a problem in generating the SPWM signal as shown in the image.

If I am not connecting both DC stack capacitor to bus voltage then SPWM generation works well. Please check my full simulation circuit but for some reason, I am not getting the actual signal. I want to know how can I overcome this problem?
