Hi team,
Could you please help check the nonlinearity error dirft value and max nonlinearity error@25C? I cannot find these two value in the datasheet. Thanks.

Hi Charles,
Unfortunately, these parameters are not specified. What is in the datasheet is what we have data for.
I would assume that max is equal to typical, and drift equals to zero. These assumptions are obviously not true strictly speaking. But from a practical stand point, it is probably close enough.

Hi Lin,
I would read the datasheet in a slightly different way:
"To achieve highest linearity stay with the output voltage 0.5V away from the rails." :-)
But I would not give this number too much importance. It's only typical data and will show some manufacturing tolerances and eventually some drift. Nevertheless, the number is hepful when choosing a suited ADC.

Hi Guang,
Thank you for your response here. The reason why I ask this question is that I want to calculate the max error over temperature (-40C-85C) this device will contribute to system when I use this device to sense current.
We only have gain error, gain error drift, offset error, offset error drift in our datasheet. I also need max Nonlinearity error, Nonlinearity error drift to calculate total error this device will have.
Do you have any idea to get this result? Thanks.

Charles Lin
Hi Charles,
Nonlinearity was only characterized at room temperature, there is no over temperature data for either the max or drift. Like I initially posted, I would use the typical number for all calculation, room as well as over temperature.
