TLC2262: different bottom marking from different suppliers

Part Number: TLC2262

Dear Sir/Madam,

We bought part# TLC2262CPWR from your different suppliers. We find that they are assembled in the same location (Malaysia), date codes are similar (1929/1950), but the bottom markings have different formats. One top marking shows detailed assembling location but the other not.

We contacted with the supplier but their feedback is not enough to explain our questions on bottom markings. I would like to check with TI directly if this is a normal issue for this part. Thank you!

Hi Zifei,

have you bought the TLC2262 from a TI's authorized distributor? Then there's no need to doubt.

Can you provide pictures of the two from top side and also bottom side?

Hi Ron,

Please check the attached photos. The authorized distributor showed us a link to explain the marking but we can only find the decode of top marking, no explanation on the bottom marking information. That's why we would like to ask for help from you. We will directly use them if it's acceptable. Thank you!

It has been confirmed that both bottom markings are legitimate.
