Hi,

I'm looking for programmable current source for my project. I want to produce ac current source (1mA-200mA) with frequency range from 1kHz to 500kHz. Any suggestions of related device which I can start with?

have you thought about using the Howland current pump?

Hi Arelone and Kai,

The biggest issue you will find in the bandwidth. 500kHz is difficult because 1Msample is pretty much the max on our fastest devices. You can look at a Howland current pump for the output or a current mirror as a high-side current source.

This design is close to what you need, but it is probably limited in bandwidth.

You could consider some of our un-buffered voltage output DACs, like the DAC8831 as well.
