Dear Support,

I would like to replace an old AD829 (Analog Device) with a newer TI op-amp.

AD829 was chosen for its peculiar features:

- low voltage noise (< 2nv/sqrt(Hz) )

-1/f knee,well below 100Hz

- high BWG

- CMRR > 80db up to 100Khz

- +/- 12V supply

I used the TI cross-ref utility, however I can't fine any TI op-amp fulfilling all such specs. Could you please suggest a solution ?

Well Alberto, that is a pretty old part and also unique with the offset null and external comp cap pin, probably not going to find a pin compatible alternate,

The +/-12V supply limits the options pretty quickly - if you could go to +/-6 or less, look at the OPA820 - at higher supply there is the THS4031, but its not as good on 1/f corner or the LMP8671 which does have a low 1/f but is higher flatband,

indeed, the venerable AD829 is quite unique...

Thank you for your suggestions. LMP8671 deserves some tests. I will first simulate it and then try to replace the

honorable AD.
